LEEDS CASTLE TRIP

With funding received from Awards for All Lottery Fund and Age Concern, Walthamstow Deaf Club recently enjoyed a marvellous trip to Leeds Castle in Kent.

The weather was hot and sunny and there was plenty to do for all ages, from a trip 400ft in the air by static balloon (two trips won by lucky Club members Nicky Merison and Barbara Cripps) to watching the fantastic medieval knights jousting,  the falconry displays and enjoying the maze – frightening for some!!

The castle and dog collar museum was open to view, and everyone loved the wonderful Kent Giants!
